There are many attractions in Cheongju, but there are tourist attractions around Cheongnamdae and Sangdangsanseong Fortress near Daecheong Dam, where the presidential villa is located. Daecheong Dam is a dam that crosses the Geumgang River’s mainstream, and Uan belongs to Deokyu-RI, Munui-myeon, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. Also, Sangdangsanseong Fortress, about 10 RI, was first built as a fortress during the Baekje Period and was reconstructed several times during the Joseon Dynasty.

In Cheongju, there are also places with good scenery, such as Daecheong Dam Observatory and Suamgol Observatory in Sangdangsanseong Fortress. Have you watched the drama ‘Baking King Kim Tak-gu’? It was so popular that I saw my family. I really enjoyed it, but it was Suamgol in Sangdangsanseong Fortress.
When it comes to Cheongju, my eldest daughter once came here for a dance sports competition, and she also traveled to Cheongju Zoo and Science Museum with her daughters, but this time she stopped by in the evening while going to Cheongnamdae with her granddaughter. Recently, the popular mural village of Suamgol in Cheongju and the Palbong bakery did not see it because it was night but instead ate pork cutlet and jajangmyeon with children “Yeonggwangine” restaurant in front of the drama set.
After spending an unexpected amount of time at Cheongnamdae, the Daecheong Dam Observatory and Munui Cultural Heritage Complex were finished with the drive. At the same time, Suamgol Observatory was replaced by walking on the streets of cafes and dining at restaurants where the drama was filmed. As the evening weather got colder, and the night view was not colorful, I ended my trip to Cheongju by buying bread called “Baking King Kim Tak-gu.”
